DAY 1

Get ready for an exciting adventure in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, in the fascinating Waorani territory! At 08:00 a.m., we will depart by land transportation through the Auca route, on a journey of approximately three hours until we reach the impressive Shiripuno River bridge. Here, our unique journey begins. During an exhilarating four-hour canoe ride on crystal-clear waters, we will witness the majestic flight of toucans, parrots, and many other fascinating species. Nature will surprise us at every moment! In the afternoon, we will embark on an adaptation hike, and after dinner, we will prepare our equipment for a nighttime walk to observe snakes, rodents, and mammals.

DAY 2 

Wake up early, at 06:00 a.m., to enjoy a delicious breakfast before embarking on an unforgettable hike through the jungle. We will have the opportunity to encounter incredible creatures such as the impressive saíno (wild pig), deer, monkeys, colorful parrots, and toucans, among others. After this fascinating experience, we will return to the campsite to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. In the afternoon, we will venture out in canoes for the thrilling experience of piranha fishing. And to end the day on a high note, we will embark on another nighttime canoe adventure to observe caimans and, perhaps, other nocturnal animals. Finally, we will return to the campsite to rest and recharge.

DAY 3

Wake up refreshed and enjoy a delicious breakfast at 06:30 a.m. Today, we have an exciting hike to a breathtaking viewpoint, where we will witness astonishing panoramic views. Along the way, we will encounter diverse animal species and marvel at the lush jungle flora. After this unforgettable experience, we will return to the campsite for a comforting lunch. Then, we will embark on an upstream canoe adventure, with the thrilling possibility of encountering an anaconda or other fascinating animals. As night falls, we will return to the campsite to enjoy a delicious dinner and rest under the starry sky.

DAY 4 

Today is our last day on this wonderful expedition! After an early breakfast at 07:30 a.m., we will pack our belongings for the return journey. During the trip, we will make a special stop: we will visit a Waorani family to immerse ourselves in their incredible customs and traditions. It will be a unique opportunity to experience their culture firsthand. Finally, around 01:00 p.m., we will arrive at the Shiripuno bridge, where we will bid farewell to this incredible territory. Today is the day we will venture deep into the heart of the jungle in search of anacondas, with the hope of encountering the majestic jaguar. We will also have the thrilling opportunity to engage in fishing activities in the Shiripuno River and the Black Waters lagoon. It will be a unique experience! During our hike through the jungle, we will immerse ourselves in a magical world filled with lush vegetation and a diverse wildlife. DAY 1

This will be an expedition to the heart of Yasuní National Park to explore the magnificent biodiversity of this territory alongside the Waorani tribe. At 09:00 a.m., we will depart in private land transportation via the Auca route, on a journey of approximately three hours until we reach the impressive bridge over the Shiripuno River. Here, our unique journey begins. We will register at the Ministry of Environment’s guardhouse (we must present our passport) and have a briefing about our expedition. During an exciting four-hour canoe ride on crystal-clear waters, we will witness the majestic flight of toucans, parrots, and many other fascinating species. Nature will surprise us at every moment! In the afternoon, we will arrive at Minta Lodge camp, take an acclimatization hike, and then have dinner before resting early.

DAY 2 

Wake up early at 5:00 a.m. to enjoy a delicious breakfast and continue our journey along the Shiripuno River for 6 hours to reach the Bameno community. We will be welcomed by the Waorani tribe and share our introduction to this preserved territory.

DAY 3

We have breakfast at 7 a.m. and then go for a jungle walk with the Waorani tribe, sharing their way of life and hopefully encountering incredible creatures like the impressive peccary (wild pig), deer, monkeys, colorful parrots, and toucans, among others. In this part of Yasuni, the Waorani culture relies on hunting, fishing, and fruit gathering.

DAY 4

After breakfast, we will embark on another canoe adventure to observe caimans fishing and learn about the preparation of curare (poison used in hunting). This will be a great day to search for anacondas and, with luck, jaguars as we try our luck at fishing in the Shiripuno River and Aguas Negras Lagoon. It will be a day of deep jungle hiking, and we’ll have our lunch in the middle of the forest. Get ready for an epic and unforgettable day of jungle adventure. Finally, we will return to camp to rest and recharge.

DAY 5 

Wake up refreshed and enjoy a delicious breakfast at 6:30 a.m. Today, we have an exciting hike to an impressive viewpoint, where we will witness breathtaking panoramic views. Along the way, we will encounter various animal species and marvel at the lush jungle flora. After this unforgettable experience, we will return to camp for a satisfying lunch. Later, we will venture upstream in a canoe, with the thrilling possibility of encountering an anaconda or other fascinating animals. As night falls, we will return to camp for a delicious dinner and rest under the starry sky.

DAY 6

At 5 a.m., we return to our journey to Minta Lodge camp. In the evening, surrounded by the serenity and sounds of nature, we will have a nighttime walk and then rest.

DAY 7

Today is our last day on this wonderful expedition! After an early breakfast at 7:30 a.m., we will pack our belongings for the return journey. Finally, we will arrive at the Shiripuno Bridge, where we will bid farewell to this incredible territory. At 4:00 p.m., we will board our land transportation back to Coca.
